Thanks to his many years of experience as a psychologist, McGraw has advice for almost all relational problems. The program started on September 16, 2002, after McGraw had a successful column on the Oprah Winfrey Show for many years. Despite his success, many psychoogists criticize McGraw's advice and methods. They often refer to his opinions as "simplistic" and "ineffective".
